  Re: MOC: Half-timbered house

Andreas, Awe inspiring! Really great work. How long did you imagine it before you built it? Thank you for sharing this with us. Jon (22 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: MOC: F44-03; alternate jet

(...) Thanks Paul for your very kind words (again). I do my best to get the best out of sets to inspire others hopefully. Perhaps I'm able to present instructions for this model too someday. If TLC would commission me then there will be instructions (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.space, lugnet.technic, FTX)

  RE: New invention instructions

(...) Participating the state FIRST LEGO League Tournament is a great idea. However, the challenging effect varies greatly. I guess it really depends on who holds the events. I went to one held in my state, I was completely disappointed. It turned (...) (...) Four: -If you're between 9-14, ask teacher at school to join First Lego League. Five: -If you're not, participate in a local LUG or organization that has regular robotics challenges, etc. Calum (22 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.people, lugnet.people.newbie, lugnet.people.teens, lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

  Re: 1965 Suicide Lincoln

(...) Nathan, This is really nice, I can see you put a lot of work into the grill and taillights, they look great. Did you consider tiling the rest of the car? It would have taken a lot of black tiles, but it might have looked good. Thanks, George (22 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: New invention instructions

(...) three variations: ONE: a) look around you room, dig in your LEGO boxes, have a walk through the cellar or the attic b) build the facinating idea you just had. TWO: a) turn on your computer, start the web browser b) find something facinating (...)   Re: MOC: F44-03; alternate jet

(...) That's awesome! Once again you've created another brilliant alternate MOC from a designer set. I'm running out of complimentary adjectives to use. Simply amazing! Please keep building and sharing these with us. I love the operational details (...)   Re: Stairs built with 1/10 offset

(...) Cool. Thoa I have to say, the "stairs" appear as more of a ramp than steps to me. Mostly that is because Lego is so blocky, that when I see slight blockiness I guess I let my eyes smooth it out. Anyway, maybe its just me. Love the MOC thoa. (...)   Re: Minifig-scale China Clipper flying boat complete!

(...) Thanks Joe. Those sponsons (the winglets along the bottom of the hull) were a big kludge...I didn't have enough corner slopes to do what I really wanted. Next time I'll use triangular plates on the ends! I'll try that dihedral idea also, (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-05, to lugnet.build)

  Re: MOC: F44-03; alternate jet

(...) That was done JUST with 4403 parts? Rockin! Designer sets rock and that's one of my faves. You've packed an amazing amount of detail into that build and it does look like a variant on the real F all right. (although red paint would play havoc (...)   MOC: F44-03; alternate jet

This time another alternate model of the 4403 set: (URL) This F44-03 is inspired by the F-14 and the idea of the jet in the official 4403 building instructions. The wings are linked and can be folded or unfolded by pulling or pushing the grey slopes (...)   Re: I know what I'll build!

(...) I'd say dark bley would resemble the lines best, or maybe regular dark grey. Good luck with this project, I look forward to seeing it done! -Matthew Sklar (22 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.build)

  I know what I'll build!

I was just looking at the "dots" of the monster thread of "Re: A Community Problem (Was: Re: 10152 Update)" and I think I'll build it in LEGO® elements! (URL) probably turn it on it's side though for stability and to easily add to it should it need (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.build, lugnet.fun)

  Re: 3D-puzzle: the Sphere

(...) I tried to build each piece of the puzzle as straightforward as possible. The 3x3 plate without corner was not in the first (MLCad) version. I wanted something to stick out slightly (to come closer to the shape of a sphere), without using an (...) (22 years ago, 31-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: 3D-puzzle: the Sphere

(...) Neat stuff. I am a fan of the door rail part as I think it is quite versatile. It is an interesting compromise you made, using that part and the 3x3 plate with corner cut off but otherwise restricting yourself to non rounded, non sloped, full (...)
