  I know what I'll build!

I was just looking at the "dots" of the monster thread of "Re: A Community Problem (Was: Re: 10152 Update)" and I think I'll build it in LEGO® elements! (URL) probably turn it on it's side though for stability and to easily add to it should it need (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jan-05, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.build, lugnet.fun)

  Re: 3D-puzzle: the Sphere

(...) I tried to build each piece of the puzzle as straightforward as possible. The 3x3 plate without corner was not in the first (MLCad) version. I wanted something to stick out slightly (to come closer to the shape of a sphere), without using an (...) (21 years ago, 31-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

(...) Pretty Cool! Thanks for sharing. Also, your site is one of the top referrers to LDraw.org. Thanks for the traffic. -Orion (21 years ago, 31-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

(...) Neat stuff. I am a fan of the door rail part as I think it is quite versatile. It is an interesting compromise you made, using that part and the 3x3 plate with corner cut off but otherwise restricting yourself to non rounded, non sloped, full (...)   3D-puzzle: the Sphere

Hi all, 1) In April I designed a LEGO-version of the wooden puzzle-cube (in MLCad). (URL) 2) In May it was followed by the spherical version of that very same puzzle (also in MLCad). (URL) 3) When I got back from Billund with lots of tan and brown (...) (21 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.cad, FTX) !

Re: Minifig-scale China Clipper flying boat complete!

Hi Matso That is a fantastic flying boat you have built. I clicked "up" to see your other models and like Ted says, your MOCs would look great at a show/large layout. I hope to see more of your Flying Boats in the future. Thanks. Chris (21 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

(...) Excellent work. I love the sculpting under the tail. (...) A very reasonable compromise, I think! (...) No ideas from me, but I'll be listening in for the answers too. Cheers Richie Dulin (21 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

(...) great and the interior is fine. (...) Well I dunno about that, but if I was building a flying boat, I would make the hull (below the load line) easily removable. That way you can display the whole plane in the air, but remove the hull for when (...) (21 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)
