  Re: Pneumatic Quadraped 242

Does anyone know what is going on at BrickShelf with regard to movie files? I sent email to the webmaster but haven't gotten a reply. Jona LEGO Robotics Group of Ann Arbor (URL) (23 years ago, 16-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build, lugnet.robotics)

Re: BrickCase, Mini-Itx form-factor lego case

(...) Cool! 100% Lego bricks! :-) (...) Oh. Not 100% Lego bricks! :-( All kidding aside, it looks pretty good. It has a much better overall look than most Lego cases I've seen on the Web. It looks like you had an idea of what it should look like (...) (23 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Pneumatic Quadraped 242

(...) As you wish: (URL) Quad242 walking forward. (URL) Quad242 turning left I've got two more but I'm having trouble uploading them.... I'll let you know when I get them uploaded. Kevin (23 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build, lugnet.robotics)

  BrickCase, Mini-Itx form-factor lego case

Here's the second case design I've built around a mini-itx VIA EPIA 800 mainboard: (3 URLs) The BrickCase is entirely made of Lego bricks and uses no glue whatsoever (but does make use of several nylon washers, nuts, bolts and miniature screws) and (...)   Some clarification

(...) I... uh... wasn't the creator of that. According to the LUGNET post, the credit appears to go to Martin Howard. I just happened to remember reading it not too long ago and a quick search on the LUGNET archives turned up the particular thread. (...) (23 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: LEGO Rubik Cube

(...) I wouldn't worry about not being the first although I know that it is annoying. Looking at your two designs it is amazing that they are so different inside to acheive the same action. Your rings obviously give a smoother (more engineered?) (...) (23 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: LEGO Rubik Cube

(...) Before I built my Cube, I searched the net to know if someone has already tried this. The 'Googlebot' found no matches. I hoped I was the first to come up with it. You beat me to it. (I haven't found my way on LUGNET till last week !). There (...) (23 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Pneumatic Quadraped 242

(...) I've added a total of four polarity reversers and now it can walk forward, backward, and turn right and left (within its own footprint)! The transistions from turning to walking and walking to turning involves flipping two of the polarity (...) (23 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build, lugnet.robotics)

(...) That happens with large pistons. (...) I knew you would ask :^) (...) So it doesn't tip!?! The center of mass is not always in line with the center of the footprint, so it can tip to one side or the other of the down feet diagonal. Also the (...)   LEGO Rubik Cube

To all AFOL's, Is it possible to build a Rubik Cube with standard LEGO elements? The 3D puzzles from (URL) Eric Harshbarger> and (URL) JP Brown's Cubesolver> inspired me to build the famous Rubik Cube itself. You can check it out on my webpage : (2 (...)   Re: Pneumatic Quadraped 242

(...) Wow, that's massive! And a video of at least one cycle would be helpful :) Why the large footprint? (23 years ago, 14-Nov-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build, lugnet.robotics)

  Pneumatic Quadraped 242

Hi All, I just snapped some pictures of my latest MOC. It is a pneumatic quadraped that has an advanced walking gait made completely out of lego pneumatics. Instant walking, just add air pressure. (...) And to think I almost didn't click the second link! Roger, such a great idea and execution. (...) Awesome. I love the landing platform too. I've seen a few people build in BT1 before but I love the combination of star wars and BT. The only way to make it sweeter is to make more of them. Pat"no sig fig" Bunn (23 years ago, 12-Nov-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)
