Folks, For the recent TexLUG medieval siege weapon contest, I constructed a floating-arm trebuchet. Here are some annotated photos: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=61939 For the record, the trebuchet achieved the longest distance launch of the contest projectile (a glued 4x4x3 cube of 2x4 bricks) at 33 feet.
