Am I to expect a Janeway I, Sisko I, or a
Picard I anytime in the future? ;-)

Picard I has been built and photographed, but not edited; Sisko I is in
the works as we speak and Janeway is in the mental-design mode.

I, too, like the series of probes and satellites. very cool and very different.
just a question: is there anything about these probes that connects them with
their namesakes?
