Hi all,
Heres a new MOC I made: T-SECs next deep space probe, Kirk I.
Kirk I
Main Folder
Kirk Is shape is based off Mariner 9. Kirk I was built after
Archer I, but before I uploaded
Archer I to Brickshelf, and therefore I couldnt incorporate any of George
Haberbergers helpful suggestions.
Kirk I is equipped with four solar panels, duel plutonium pods and
thermopile generators after distance from the sun makes the solar panels
impractical, several long range scanners and sensors, eight primary and
secondary thrusters, a large data relay dish and a dataphoto photoprocessor
mounted on a robotic arm.
PLMKWYT, and dont be afraid to criticize.

This is an interesting subtheme you have going here. The shapes are quite
realistic and the structure rings true.

Thanks, I try to get as NASA-ish as I can.
|
The only thing I might suggestion is a little bit of inset greebling....not
on the surface but perhaps peeking through some gaps in the plates. This
would make for an interesting effect I think, and insinuate that the interior
is crammed with scientific doodads. Just my 2 briks.

Hey thanks! Cool idea! Ive never thought about interior greebling!
