Huh? I don't see any Matoran disc-throwing arms anywhere. I thought
you said it used the "useless" Bionicle pieces...

I find that the ball-joints are problematic for nearly anything that
rests on more than three ball-jointed limbs. I built the Ghekula frog
combiner from the LEGO Club website, and it took me about ten minutes to get
the legs all straightened out so it would actually look like it was sitting
down. Large, heavy objects just magnify the problem by causing the
ball-joints to slip when any amount of pressure is applied, but there are
tricks that people have come up with to tighten up the joints.
Anyways, the design looks a bit off due to the Stormtrooper sitting in
the cockpit. I'm not sure why, but it doesn't look very Star Warsy, and the
presence of a Stormtrooper says that it should. I like the gattling guns
though. Do they spin?
