I cannot build on the floor because I cannot sit on the floor for more than
about 2 minutes without getting a backache...

In lugnet.storage, Eric Sophie writes:
Oh you gotta go with a Rolly Leather Office Chair. If you can pick one up
from an office supply store for cheap, go for it. When you drop a piece,
just wack the side handle and "shhhhhhhp" you lower yourself to the floor to
pick it up.

Then glide left and right to grab parts from the bins that surround you.

I have to agree, a chair with casters is a good thing. Mine isn't leather
but it rolls. The downside of course is that if you're not watching you can
roll over a piece and ruin it...
