I've seen so many wonderful LEGO mosaics in the last year that I've been itching to do something large-scale of my own. I could never decide on a subject to put the effort into though. My new favorite thing to listen to this summer has been the (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.general) !!

Hi John, I really like the idea of doing a bas relief underneath a mosaic. As you say, you can't really see the result in the photos. Perhaps if you turn off the flash on your camera and light the mosaic with a bright light offset to one side. You (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.build)

John, Wow, all I can say is "Viva!" you have scored quite a "Victory" in mosaic :) The bas relief viola under the mosaic is really a cool idea too, let us know when you've posted pics that show this off better. I've really been wanting to do a (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.build)

(...) Dang! That's too cool! I'm guessing you ran the image through photoshop, and dithered it until the image was just an assortment of dots, right? Pretty ingenious if you ask me. Anyway, do you have any more mosiacs slated for public view in the (...) (22 years ago, 7-Oct-02, to lugnet.build)
