        Re: New Diorama —Mladen Pejic
WOW! Very nice Geordan. I like the destroyed buildings/houses, as well as the huge amount of detail. Great job once again! Oh, if I may ask, is there some kind of story behind this diorama?         Re: New Diorama —Stuart Immonen
Say, that's hella cool! G, this is a nifty thing-- I love the shattered plaster (mud?)walls-- the effect is very realistic from a certain distance. I like the poor guy on the stretcher, too. But whatup with the story? Are the mechs battling or are (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha)

         Re: New Diorama —Drew Lawrence
(...) Hey. Question. Are we talking like any movie? Because if so, go and watch Behind Enemy Lines.      (...) Haha! I was going to use the exact same example! But I wasn't sure of some of my facts, since it's been a while since I saw it, so I decided to leave it out all together.          Re: New Diorama —Drew Lawrence
Another helicoptor movie; has anybody here ever seen Thunderbirds? The movie really sucked, it was a lame Top Gun rip off, but with Apache's instead of F-14 Tomcats. But the point is, every helicoptor in that movie held their own except when put up (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New Diorama OT —Mark Neumann
I think it can be said that Helos have thier uses. Namely against slower ground targets. One of my more favorite stories from the Gulf was an A-10 flying along and came upon a Hind gunship. Long story short; Hind turned into very small chunks by (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.military)
