Re: "2001: A Lego Odyssey" - A New Lego Movie!

That was great! After watching it about 3 1/2 times it keeps getting better. By far the best part was when the guy in "LEGO Today" saw his brick and it was a burp and he frowned! That was great! Awesome movie! --Kyle LUGNUT# 791! (URL) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.animation, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: The Royal Train Website

This is absolutely stunning!! Not just the layout, but the pictures too. How on earth did you get your photo's to look so damn good? Most look like raytrace (And that's meant as a compliment here!). I'd love to see more pics of the turntable. Even (...) (24 years ago, 1-Jan-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.trains)

  Mark's Lego Creations Update! 1/1/01

Hi All, No new MOCs have been added, but I created a new section for stories and a new section for Spiffco. Check it out. ~Mark "Muffin Head" Sandlin (24 years ago, 1-Jan-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  MOC: Bridges for Trains

It took a while and some of the images didn't come out to quite the exposure I wanted them to, BUT, I finally got down to posting photos of some bridges I built the past several months. Just check out the recent in Brickshelf or (URL) try to post (...) (24 years ago, 1-Jan-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.trains)

The colors are from various kinds of adhesive tapes, and they could all be removed without harming the bricks (if for some reason he decided he needed to do that...) I've seen a few of (...) (...) So, all the work on (URL) (for instance) is stickers? You're good! How do you do that? Like everyone else has said already, your stuff is incredible. Thanks for sharing. Chris (24 years ago, 1-Jan-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build, lugnet.publish.photography)

(...) I'm definitely starting to weaken on this one... good stickers add a lot. I'n not sure I'd go as far as to change the colors of elements, but for signage and detail they can't be beat. (...)   Re: The Royal Train Website

Chris, Thanks for pulling this old message. To clarify my ground rules... 1. No painting. A lot of the value in a Lego element is compromised if it can't be reused as originally intended.
