  Re: Landing Gear Troubles

(...) Great suggestions guys. Thanks. I just took a glance at the Lego website and I think the Adventurers' car hubs will work. I've been in the dark ages for about fifteen years until recently, so there are many "new" pieces I am unfamiliar with. I (...) (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Proposal: a TOWN building contest!

In the spirit of the recent Classic Space building contest, I'm proposing (and am willing to organise) a building contest for us TOWN junkies. I have some ideas of how we can do it (and I've set up a placeholder page on LUGNET for it, same as Todd (...) (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Landing Gear Troubles

(...) They also would have to be connected using technic pins w/axle, which will be weaker than a #4 axle running through. Another thing which would be stronger and would still fit in the wells would be a pair of 2x2 round plates on each side of the (...) (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: My Latest MOC-- a Chateau

John, Great job on the Chateau, I stumbled across it this morning on Brickshelf and was very impressed with the ornate details around the doors and windows. Is it gray or white? The pictures kind of make it hard to tell. jt -- James J. Trobaugh (...) (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.trains.org)

  Re: Landing Gear Troubles

Try the Adventurers' car hubs. They're spoked the entire way around and are the same size as the Technic hubs you described. Only problem is that they might not look "Spacey," they're a bit old fashioned looking. (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Landing Gear Troubles

Are there any other wheel alternatives to "Centre Large" part #3482 (according to Brickbay) i.e. a 2x2 hub no wider than 1 stud. I am having problems with the hubs cracking under the weight of my model. Unfortunately, these wheels only have two (...) (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Larry Pieniazek <lpieniazek@mercator.com> wrote in message news:G6ECws.1C7@lugnet.com... (...) Ok. Just a thought though. (...) Good thinking. If I feel like it I may try to give Mark a holler tonight, and if I don't and no one else is successful I (...) (24 years ago, 30-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Classic Space Contest: Final votes tallied -- results to follow

Oog. I've been out of town, and I was unable to get webmail to function properly until today. I sent in a vote too late, I fear. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience! :^( ~Mark (...) (24 years ago, 30-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.contests)

(...) Ashley himself is really really busy, I think. The note we got said he didn't have time to vote due to being on the road and having very patchy email access. So he may not be all that reachable. Mark lives in the Pacific Northwest... not sure (...) (24 years ago, 30-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space, lugnet.org.us.sealug, lugnet.loc.us.wa)

Haven't seen Mark online in about a week, and dunno what happened to him. Ashley Glennon has his phone #, if he sees this perhaps he could give a call? -Tim Jonathan Mizner <mizners@aol.com> wrote in message news:G6E47o.74u@lugnet.com... (...)
