  print removal

Does anyone know a good method of removing the printed designs from pieces without causing much damage to the piece itself? I've got some dynamite tiles begging to be liberated... Josh Spaulding (URL) (26 years ago, 4-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) Took me a while to get everything working, but here's my rendered chess set: (URL) aren't spaces in the URL, they are _ characters.) (...) Oh, definitely. Haven't looked at many cone parts in L3P, have you? The 3x3x2 cone especially needs extensive work. Steve (26 years ago, 4-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.build)

RE: Flattened Primitives (was Re: 1x1 and 2x2 chess sets)

(...) No, sorry, wrong word, I didn't mean part authors are lazy! Because POV is a ray tracer, it needs to calculate transformations backwards and therefore it calculates inverse matrices.   Re: 1x1 and 2x2 chess sets

(...) Good answer, but not the one I was looking for. :-) What I meant to ask is: do the current cones need to get the same/similar fix as the 1x1 cone? -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 3-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.build)

Re: Flattened Primitives (was Re: 1x1 and 2x2 chess sets)
