  Re: SEV2

(...) Thanks! I really like your SEV2 also... I've been thinking about doing a tank design, but have not yet been pleased with the concepts I've come up with. (...) True... but the SEV2 is armored Cav... the lightfoot is mechanized infantry. (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: SEV2

(...) Candiru sez, "Smile when you say that!" :-, (...) This reminds me of the mixed-universe combat arguments you'll find in your typical sci-fi fandom newsgroups, like "5 Imperial Star Destroyers vs. 12 Earthforce Omega-Class Destroyers" or (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: SEV2

(...) I do like the Lightfoot. Wish I'd made one myself... Just from appearances, it seems like yours could beat mine in a bouldered and forested terrain, but on clearer surfaces I think the SEV2 would win because it's more manueverable. Plus (and (...)   Re: Building a dome

(...) Depends on how hard you work at it. The finalist in <insert name of building contest> made a *huge* carousel, with the canopy made of red roof bricks. Very cool. There's a picture in the 1999 retail catalog that I got from CA last week. It's (...) (26 years ago, 29-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Building a dome

(...) Fairly difficult to do with Lego, at least on a large scale. You might want to check out Ed Boxer's Crown Cathedral: ((URL) not quite what you're looking for, but I suspect it's about the closest you'll get from "system" lego. (26 years ago, 29-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: SEV2

(...) Hmm. For one-to-one combat, better break out the heavy artillery fighter. That one looks like a match. :) -Tom McD. (26 years ago, 29-Jan-99, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.build)
