| I built the Marauder, as you've probably heard, and did my best to 'colorize' it in a grey/dark grey color scheme..... and then used it at the BrikWar event. | (...) I believe that Minifigures are meant to represent children... as such, they are not too far off scale. The rest of Legoland is scaled to a child's size, much like a play-house.
