Re: BIG update on Bardiel website

Oh, MAN that is so cool. I so very much want to build something huge like that. Not enough room in my little teeny house, tho. :^( I look forward to more progress photos! ~Mark (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  BIG update on Bardiel website

Hey guys. I've been offline for the past 3 months or so but recently started using a friend's computer. I just uploaded about 50 pictures of my spaceship to my long neglected website. There is almost no text but that will change in the weeks to (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: Building the A10 Thunderbolt "Warthog"

(...) I seem to recall that they had a successful firing a few years back from a static ground position (i.e. it only pointed up), where they blinded a test satellite. I'm not exactly sure if this is the same weapon system, but Lockeed and TRW were (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Z.O.O.T. Suit

Wow! A Bunch of Numbers! *sigh* Could you render it for those of us who don't have a CAD program? ~Mark (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Z.O.O.T. Suit

Hey- go check it out! (URL) The Z.O.O.T. (Zeller Omni-Ops Tracer) Suit is becoming the staple command unit on the battlefields of the Federated Moons. Armed with only a single medium pulse laser and two EMP concussion grenades, The ZOOT Suit is (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Got Mech?

alex- thanks for the input- yeah the bpt is my favorite and i'm kinda bummed because one of the coolest aspects didn't come out in the pics. like i said, its a two person tank- the rear pilot (rio and gunner) has a really cool entry system that is (...)   Re: Got Mech?

randy- thanks for the input, glad you liked the models. yeah, the whole sagging joints issue is a tough one. the technic black "friction pins" i've noticed come in two "strengths"- look closely at them and you'll see- some have "ribs" that run the (...)   Re: Building Gundams

Yeah, Mark's right, you gotta use yellow. I would also suggest using a L-CAD program like Mark said, but I personally think you could pull it off just by using regular yellow plates, tiles, even antenna. Here are some micro-fig Gundam models by (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Building the A10 Thunderbolt "Warthog"

The laser in question is known as ABL or AirBorne Laser. Its built by a team consisting of Boeing, Lockheed and TRW. Its purpose is to shoot down theater ballistic missiles while they are still in the enemy's territory. Boeing is providing the (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Re: Building Gundams

(...) Really, your only option is to use yellow. There really aren't enough gold parts to make this work very well, and I'll be very disappointed if you paint your Lego. I suppose you could build the thing using one of the Lego CAD programs and (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
