Geez Alex! It's mecha, remember mecha means everything, 2 legged and up! Mech is a disgusting word made by FASA which means crappy Mechwarrior Robots!!! Remember, mecha, not mech! (...) in relation to large walking (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

That is true. I had not thought about the metal bars, I was just thinking about the general shape. I thought someone was suggesting a 2x4-slope-from-2-dee...eep-on-top windshield as the back end of the canopy, and I thought that would be to steep (...) How many is too much I ask, well I plan on making a total of 15 weapons that can be held by pretty much any mecha with mini-fig legs for fingers...included in that package will be some design such as(my favorite up close)a dual laser beam scythe, a (...)
