I got a note offline asking about how I do the inset doors on my box cars. They were clear on how to start an offset using 1x2 tiles with center stud, but unclear on how to tie the door back in at the top. here's what I said in response: There are a (...) (26 years ago, 12-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) A technic beam has the little rods on the bottom, just like any other 1x plate or brick. If you turn the side-stud brick sideways, with the side stud facing up, you can attach it to the bottom of the technic beam so that the little rod goes (...) (26 years ago, 12-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)
