  Re: Car Dealership

(...) I always saw the huge showroom window as more of a parking space for the car. You would think that lego could have used its "showroom" window piece that was available at the time(as seen in 6375 Exxon Gas Station in clear and 6970 Beta- 1 (...) Thanks, Duane! BTW Do you have anything new up your crafty sleeve... A dropship perhaps, or exploration ship, or maybe medical ship... (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: New Model - "Owl" AG Transport Craft

(...) Thanks a lot, Joseph. Can you believe that the only reason I built the sliding doors was because I saw and read on your website how you wanted to make a LEGO Bell-Huey but still haven't achieved your desired goal... Well consider my model a (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: New Model - "Owl" AG Transport Craft

Thanks Pat, regarding the troops, if I made a larger cabin, it would have looked too big and awkward. Anyway, the main goal of this models, was A) make sliding doors, B) make a nice, attractive VTOL that looks fasts, and is (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Re: Car Dealership

(...) Beautiful...my only suggestion is to make the architecture a bit more interesting. Break up those windows with some supporting pillars, maybe. --Bram (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.arch)

Re: KEN-TUCKY WORKS has been updated

(...) I read your site often, I love it! Especially the L.E.G.O. Force section. Your English is quite good, by the way. Certainly better than my Japanese! (...) I would say just what you did here. It is quite easy to understand, and is correct (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Model - "Owl" AG Transport Craft

(...) too cool, mladen! the black and white rod-and-cone missiles are sheer genius. also, your pov presentation is great to display the models. where in the heck do you get the time to work on this stuff?? ..joseph g (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Multi-story buildings - story height

(...) For office buildings I use 7-10 bricks per floor. Real office buildings are a minimum of 9ft + 3 t = 12 feet per floor which is about 8 bricks. Residential dwellings are shorter of course. KL (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Car Dealership

(...) They wouldn't be bad, just not ideal. Most office windows I've seen are tinted. There are some that are clear, and it probably wouldn't look bad. It also depends on the color scheme of the building. Trans-lt-blue probably wouldn't go with red (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.arch)

Re: New Model - "Owl" AG Transport Craft

Once again, Mladen you have created a fine peice of LEGO machinery. My only nitpick is that it only carries 4 troops (or cops in this case). Pat J (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Re: Car Dealership

Re: Multi-story buildings - story height

Re: New Model - "Owl" AG Transport Craft

(...) I like the lines and part variety. You've done a couple of things with common parts that I haven't thought of before. Nice. -Duane (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Re: Car Dealership

(...) Nope, I'm pretty sure it is a car dealership. The minifig fits the stereotype perfectly, and why would a driving school have a huge showroom window? The second floor office has the feel of a car dealership as well, at least to me. Jeff (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: More LEGO rocket cars!

Greetings! Thanks for sharing the pictures! Interesting results!.. Just some insights to share... on the car with the large technic tires, bracing to keep the frame square might reduce the tendency to twist, although the turning resulted in (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build)
