2x2 tile mosaic possibilities (was: Re: Lego Direct Parts Selection)

(...) Hmmm...According to (URL), there are currently 3 colors of 2x2 tiles being offered for US$6.99/100 -- black, white, and red. That's not much, but it's enough to do a three-tone mosaic. If somebody had US$1000 to blow on 2x2 tiles, they could (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Lego Direct Parts Selection

(...) Of course, you also have factor in a bit of slop, because I doubt that you would use each bag of each color fully, nor would you want to run out part way through. I just look forward to enough tiles to do something like Sanjay did with his (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Lego Direct Parts Selection

(...) I'm drooling at the thought of possibly being able to someday cover a 48x48 baseplate with a mosaic of 1x1 tiles. Let's see... 48x48 would be 2,304 1x1 tiles...what would that cost? Assuming the price of 1x1 tiles was 1/4 the prices of 2x2 (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.build)

  Models for Display at Kidvention

Hey everybody... I am looking for a few models to display at the Kidvention with the LDraw setup. They need to have a virtual representation in .dat format so we can print up a poster of a rendering of the model. I'm looking for stuff from a lot of (...)   Aves

For cryin' out loud... last week I posted the pics of Aves and the Payback, and I just realized I forgot to add the HTML for the pics of Aves. That's what I get for staying up until 1AM on a weeknight. :^P Anyway, here they are... Aves, my custom (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

  Re: Mark's Lego Creations Update!

Thanks, Todd. Actually, I used friction pins at the shoulder and hip. I like the click-hinges because they allow me to make incremental poses, so I usually use them at joints that don't require more than 90 degrees of movement. I suppose I could (...) (...) are done with SWs hinges instead of the discontinued high-friction pins (I hate those things). I've been considering building a realy large anthropoid mech that way, even though I'm so partial to Throwbot limbs. By the way, cool elevating (...)   Re: NEW LMF MECHA: Micronaut

It looks to me like the problem is a JavaScript error, and it is most probably caused by that sponsor frame at the bottom of your site. Do you have any control over that, or else could you find a different host? (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
