  Re: Another space render...

(...) I'm flattered! (...) Creates a problem if I ever build something you consider mediocre... (...) Thanks, I like it too. I spent forever wondering how I would make the wings at an interesting angle. (...) Any pictures? Reminds me, I need to get (...)   Re: Another space render...

(...) It's rare that I can come up with such a detailed and multi-angled model without building it first. After all, building a model IRL is much more fun than assembling it virtually only... About the wing strength--you can only pick the model up (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: Another space render...

(...) I read part of Dune, but I don't remember the description of the 'thopters... (...) Thanks! I'll post a DAT file to cad.dat.models so you can see if you have the parts. --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com (...)   Re: Wild West Meets Islanders

Thanks Mark, You have just helped me in my quest for more islanders! I just ordered some from S@H. But I still need those islander bods... Markus (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.build)

Bram Lambrecht <braml@juno.com> wrote in message news:20000413.215143...uno.com... (...) There's interest here. Can you explain more about what you did and how to use it in an L3P'd file? -John Van (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.publish, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: Another space render...

(...) Holy Dingo's Kidneys, you're right! (1) It looks dead-on to what an ornithopter should look like. And I just happen to be reading Dune again, anyway... :-, Cheers, - jsproat 1. At Sproat Labs, we're always trying to invent a better "me too". (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.publish, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Model of an E-3 Sentry (AWACS Plane)

(...) I'm inclined to give the kid a break. Claiming to have lost both a hugely complex model *and* the pics to prove it existed, both at the same time, must've been tough. (...) You've taken the modelling in this scale to a new level. The engine (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

(...) Jeez Drew, if you didn't like my first model, you are really going to hate the ones I made in sub-micro, nano- and pico-scale. Check them out at: (URL) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

(...) Your ship also resembles my vision of a "'thopter" from Frank Herbert's Dune series... Very cool....I wonder if I have the parts to build one?.... hmmmm (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.publish, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

(...) Thanks for the info Pete. I could probably use a couple more 6718s; what other sets are left in your typical Westen nest (apart from minifig packs)? An AUD70 6766 would be pretty tempting though. On a totally separate note, I reckon the bison (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.minifigs)
