  Re: 18 wheeler truck

(...) Thanks! The entire truck came around because of those quarter-disk bricks. I only have two, from a Freestyle bucket, and I was wondering what to do with them. I ended up building the sleeper portion of the truck and then decided to build it at (...) (26 years ago, 23-Dec-98, to lugnet.build)

  Re: 18 wheeler truck

(...) Bram, Great Truck! Beautiful use of the quarter-disk bricks to shape the front top of the sleeper on the cab. The scale is very nice, as well. Good design. later, James (26 years ago, 23-Dec-98, to lugnet.build)

Re: Tinkering the 8880 suspension setup

(...) Just as a note, I have enough of the gears and such from 8437, but would be willing to buy a partial 8437 from folks after they raided one for the parts they needed. MacFrugals had these at 1/2 off for a while. I got 3, sold one off and parted (...) (26 years ago, 23-Dec-98, to lugnet.build)

  Re: 18 wheeler truck

(...) Thanks! Yeah, I made the road. All it is is 5 quadrilaterals that go from -1000000 to 1000000 or something in that range. And the sky is (as usual) pasted in. Does anyone know of a quick way to make clouds that render quickly and don't cut (...) (26 years ago, 23-Dec-98, to lugnet.build)

Re: Tinkering the 8880 suspension setup

(...) Yep! That's what I did on the X1/9. I should probably write some more descriptive text under the X1/9, since I've gotten a couple of questions on that one. The 8440 has rigid axles, as you've observed, but it still has the pieces needed to (...) (26 years ago, 23-Dec-98, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Help...what piece or pieces?

(...) LOL Isn't it comforting to fall asleep at night (...) SOL (Sobbing out loud...or something else?) (...) Yeh...I sort of thought of trying that, but it was too late last night to pull out the roofing bricks to see. Thanks. Rob (...)   Re: 18 wheeler truck

(...) As usual, nice truck. :-) I like the use of the arrow design on the trailer and cab. Looks sharp. The roadway looks pretty good too. You make that yourself? -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 23-Dec-98, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Help...what piece or pieces?

I'm sorry. LEGO '98 bricks are not backwards compatible with your old outdated plates. We suggest you upgrade to DirectBrick7.0 technology and reinstall. Isn't it comforting to fall asleep at night knowing there are idiots ruining the company? The (...) (26 years ago, 22-Dec-98, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.trains)
