Re: First SNOT spheres, now SNOT bunnies?

(...) Those sculptures look great with studs-all-the-way - it looks like you have released a whole new degree of freedom in sculpting! (18 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.cad)

Re: First SNOT spheres, now SNOT bunnies?

(...) Wow. It amazes me what you can come up with :-) I love LEGO. It allows people to do such cool things like this. Spotlighted. -Anne (18 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: First SNOT spheres, now SNOT bunnies?

(...) Wow! I have been working on some sculptures, scenery’s and a huge globe using these studs out building technique lately. And this would be a great addition. I presume I could also use this in making a landscape with the correct 3D triangle (...) (18 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: First SNOT spheres, now SNOT bunnies?

(...) I sure did!!! Outstanding... Three things I found: - LSculpt seem to prefer "Unix" style PLY (with only CR at the end of text file instead of CR/LF Windows style). I had to convert Stanford bunny (bun_zipper.ply) to be able to use it. - After (...) (18 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.cad)

  Re: Edo Castle

Those trees are brilliant! The colour and design both work so well, good work! I've never been a fan of japanese castles so I can't comment fairly on the rest, but the overall effect is good. Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan (URL) (18 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Haven't had time to really read into this (will though!) but wanted to post a quick congrats based only on first impressions. They look great! Well done! God Bless, Nathan (URL) (18 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: First SNOT spheres, now SNOT bunnies?

(...) And apparently my ability to ask questions far supersedes my ability to follow links. I see you've written a handy paper to explain the method. Thanks. Tim (18 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: First SNOT spheres, now SNOT bunnies?

(...) Hi Bram, Some excellent algorithmic design there. Are you sure you shouldn't be doing combinatorics rather than engineering? A few questions about it: 1) Is the whole thing algorithmic or do you have to specify where your snot-centers (I see (...) (18 years ago, 15-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.cad, FTX)

  The Aroma of Ginger...

Happy Holidays, From our house to yours. Every year my children and I make a Gingerbread house as a holiday tradition.   Re: Smallest possible SNOT cube?

(...) Well, it's not quite a perfect cube! I posted a challenge for this a while ago: (URL) there were a few really cool responses!
