Re: Mini-fig scale F-16 Fighting Falcon

(...) Fighting Falcon. As I mentioned before, the entire structure was built around the landing gear and my intent was to make it fully retractable, fully concealable, and sturdy. The main (or rear) landing gear retract at about a 30 degree angle (...) (18 years ago, 9-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Mini-fig scale F-16 Fighting Falcon

Hi Ryan and Ralph I think you both build great models of modern jets. Also good to see this group becoming more active. A question to both of you what scale do you aim for? (1 stud to 1 feet = 1:38 is what I want to use but my models tend to be a (...) (18 years ago, 8-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

  Exoforce.net unofficial fan website

Hi. I just found this site and wasn't sure if people are aware of it. (My quick search of .mecha came up dry.) (URL) feature MOCs, news, and a set guide which includes nice close-up shots of some models. Not all text is in English, but there are (...) (18 years ago, 8-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mini-fig scale F-16 Fighting Falcon

(...) Hi Ryan, Don't get me wrong. I have seen some other F-16s build in LEGO, and in many respects yours is the best. I to have been building with LEGO for about 20 years as well, and like you I value details and realism. I have to admit that (...) (18 years ago, 8-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Mini-fig scale F-16 Fighting Falcon

(...) Ralph, I appreciate your constructive critisism, in reference to my F-16. I will be posting pics of my highly detailed F-14 Tomcat on Brickshelf soon. The entire fuselage of my F-16 was built around the front landing gear to make the jet (...) (18 years ago, 7-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

Seeking Lugnet community help for a freeware computer game

Hello, I'm working on a free computer game, for a competition promoting accessibility in gaming. (ie making games more accessable for older players, younger players, people with disabilities) Why post here? I want to use lego for the graphics. (And (...)   Re: Storm drain puzzle / Keep Them Rolling

Hey Manfred, These are outstanding! Is there a thread on Lowlug.nl where members have posted their MOCs, or was this all at the meeting? Was this a contest? If so, who won? I want to post these on (URL) my blog> but would like to fill in a couple of (...) (18 years ago, 7-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Curator Highlight: Lets's Go Voltron Force!

Check out everyone's favorite "Defender of the Universe." This old school labor of love by P Stanley brings a tear to my eye. The designs are so true to the actual toys. Throw in a Robeast to battle and the adventures are endless. (URL) (18 years ago, 7-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Cool part for a lintel on a window

I noticed this part: (URL) And thought it would be great for a lintel on a building window. As I learned here on Lugnet, a lintel is the top part of a window. A part that people quite often use arches for. I'd love these parts in bley, dark bley or (...) (18 years ago, 6-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

Re: Mini-fig scale F-16 Fighting Falcon

(...) There are a few things that I don't like. The shape of the nose is very odd and the jet intake is too boxy. Also, the lower part of the fuselage is simply too big compared to the rest of the aircraft and -no matter what exactly minifig scale (...) (18 years ago, 6-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)
