Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) I'll need to take a look at these tonight - whatis potentially neat about stereograms is that the scalee can be manipulated by changing the distance between cameras - the wider the gap the smaller the scale. i want to see pics done with a (...)   Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) True, it's usually nice to have both. It's too bad that you lose so much detail with most parallel views, though, since most people's eyes don't diverge beyond a certain distance. (...) I think Todd did these long ago-- he actually is the one (...) (18 years ago, 8-May-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

(...) Cool! Another recommendation would be to make these parallel-view stereograms - those can viewed through a stereoscope, or by a person who stares past the art...the eyes need to be parallel. Thanks! I've been wondering when someone would be (...) (18 years ago, 8-May-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

I'm not announcing any particular MOC, but I've just updated my BS Gallery with steriograms (those 3-d eye-crossing pictures) of a bunch of my MOCS. Please note that these aren't like "magic eye" pics, where some indiscernable shape pops out - these (...)   Re: Building Contest- A Better Mouse Trap

(...) The contest is over! Judging the entries was difficult, but a winner emerged: (URL) Zopalin's excellent space! mousetrap was the entry judged most likely to catch a mouse, is clean and humane, and well styled. Thank you Gary! Of course you're welcome to build any of my models in 'real bricks' (Currently I don't own a single brick myself) just drop a note and I'll send you the .DAT/.LCD file currently I'm building some bigger WW2 planes but i'm having a (...)   Next up: the transformable mecha....

This time around, I decided to experiment with my new frame further by creating a flight-type mecha similar to the Re-GZ Waverider mode.   Large-scale promo sculpture of Viking minifig

I found this on BrickShelf from someone's coverage of LEGOWORLD 2005. Looks like an official LEGO Master Builder put together this sculpture of a viking minifig as a promotion for the new line of sets. (URL) the image for an even larger version) (...)   Yet another mech inspired by Highway Haulers

Hello Lugnet! This isn't my first time posting, but this is my first completed model on lugnet. The picture quality isn't perfect, but i'm still learning the tricks of the trade.....   Re: Little white shooting bot

--SNIP-- (...) That is Soren's work. I made an edge-line only render by converting the model to white and fiddling with the settings in ldview and he coloured using his colouring book techniques in Photoshop. Looks great IMO. Tim (18 years ago, 5-May-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Luftwaffe Prototype: Focke Wulf Ta-183 Jet Fighter

(...) Robert, that is really nice. What I like most is that it's "rough" from using a few pieces, but was instantly recognizable. Great job.   Luftwaffe Prototype: Focke Wulf Ta-183 Jet Fighter

Well, I usually focus on building actual existing WW2 airplanes. But I was inspired by the Protototype Hunters (hence the posting to the adventurers group) and the wonderfull website luft46.com to do something else. So here it is: A Minifig scale (...)
