  Re: BAAL - Artillery Mech

Hi Dennis, First off I'd like to congratulate you on a great little mech! Awesome colours, nice proportions, and great detailing. I love the guns, big and mean looking! I normally prefer more humanoid looking mecha, but what you have done here is (...) (18 years ago, 19-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Tachikoma tank mecha - Ghost in the Shell

(...) Please keep them coming. I'm stumped. --SNIP-- (...) I tried it and it would look great except that the parts can't rotate enough :( They end up about 10 degrees from vertical. A real shame since if it could rotate more it would be great. (...) (18 years ago, 19-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Tachikoma tank mecha - Ghost in the Shell

(...) Ok, one more idea and then I'll leave you alone. What if you removed the parts above the 4x4 round brick you have there now, and instead attached three of these to it, lined up above where the technic holes of the 4x4 round brick. (URL) Then, (...)   Re: MOC: Microscale Formula PWN

(...) This is great. One of the best microscale mocs I've seen in a long time. There is some slick construction in it too. Very well done! (18 years ago, 19-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Pirate mecha

Mechers, mechettes, spacers, spacette, I've just finished a small Pirate Mecha: (URL) Click on the pic = Brickshelf folder postmod. Keep your chickens home! JP. (18 years ago, 19-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Microscale Formula PWN

(...) snip (...) Awesome! This is really cool, and a really nice use for that new curved slope. I love the construction of it, especially the upside down chassis and use of the brackets. I just built myself a red one, although I've slightly modified (...) (18 years ago, 19-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  BAAL - Artillery Mech

(URL) This is my first mech build. Even though this is a small mech, it was a good learning experience and was definitely different than building spaceships. Any comments, criticism and suggestions on how to improve future builds are very (...) (18 years ago, 18-Apr-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX) !

Re: Tachikoma tank mecha - Ghost in the Shell

(...) Thanks Anthony, Amusingly enough the original design was exactly as you described (studs out version) but it looked a bit bug-eyed so I moved the eyes on top. Thanks anyway. Tim (18 years ago, 18-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Tachikoma tank mecha - Ghost in the Shell

(...) That looks really great! I've fallen out of watching the show, but mainly because I don't stay up so late anymore when it's on. My only suggestion for the head is to add another 4x4 blue wheel (the kind with the 4 technic holes around the (...) (18 years ago, 18-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Brickshelf Find: BAAL by dennisc888

Hello, I found this on Brickshelf, and thought you might like it! (URL) Enjoy (URL) Marco> P.S.: I'm really puzzled by BS lately. In the MECHA recent folder I only find space ships and other stuff. Mecha are very rare there nowadays!? (18 years ago, 18-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: City warfare

The MOC looks OK. From a photography point of view, there's no need for the pic to be 1600x1200. And it could use some cropping. I would suggest pulling the pics into the photo editor of your choice, cropping and resizing them to more web-friendly (...) (18 years ago, 18-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: MOC: The Rabbit

  Re: MOC: The Rabbit

(...) Thanks for the kind words. I'm happy with the paws especially. I often want just one piece to serve a purpose but don't want to add a lot to make it stay in place. (18 years ago, 18-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)
