Re: My first original Mech - the Minator

Hi Ken. I am really diggin the collapsible leg design. Very clever. I think it would be possible for you to rework the hands so you could have possible fingers. You could use the click hinge design or something similar to Adam Silicott's mechs. F (19 years ago, 7-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: My First Gundam, Aeroforce.

(...) I like your model a lot. It's interesting - more than other mecha designs, gundams are very recognizable from their color schemes. This makes for some very good looking micro sized models. Keep it up! Chris (19 years ago, 7-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

The torso is off, but that can easily be fixed. if the legs and arms were extended slightly, this would be absolutely amazing! On the other hand, (...)   Re: First set of pics uploaded! MSZ-006 (prototype)

That is really impressive Jas. I'm just amazed at how creating you guys can be with this SNOT concept. Is this one articulated? How posable is it? What kind of joint do you have in the hip that lets the legs splay outward like that? I wouldn't even (...) (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: My first original Mech - the Minator

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes, the legs do scizzor. When in the squatting position the legs are in their full collapsed position and the mech more or less rests on the upper ankle joint. When standing I insert a pin in the upper ankle which (...) (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: My first original Mech - the Minator

Hi Ken, thanks for sharing! I got to agree with Jas, for a first mech, this isn't bad.   Re: My first original Mech - the Minator

Hey Ken, Nice work for you first attempt at a mech, I really like the level of articulation you have achieved. I take it the leg has the "scissor action" to it as it bends, which makes for a highly posable, and well balanced frame. What sets did you (...) (19 years ago, 5-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
