  Concept Car

This was one of the first things I built after moving to Southern California. There's not much to tell. It's got a serpentine belt, front wheel steering, and adjustable seats.   Re: Iron Mecha Entry

(...) Looks like a hardhat would be required around this thing. It reminds me a little of the demolishing mecha in "I Robot" for some reason. Please keep it assembled until I come back down to L.A. Congratulations on completing your entry! Great (...) (19 years ago, 29-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Iron Mecha Entry - Bandolero!

(...) I would hate to be a minifig in your brickshelf universe.... Can't go cruising in my Galaxy Explorer or go to a local Cinnabon or salvage an Iron mecha without getting eaten by some space monster. And what's with the red minifig at the end. Is (...)   Iron Mecha Entry

Here's my entry. I'll try to get some better pics. I was fighting for light. You'll notice I did some quick Photoshop work hoping to make them a bit better. (2 URLs) I'm very pressed for time but tried to do a couple lil snazzy Photoshop deals too. (...) (19 years ago, 29-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Iron Mecha entry - Humphrey

I'd like to apologise for the name. But my wife named it, and refused to stop calling it that, and now it's stuck. And without further ado: <-- (URL) --> <-- (URL) --> I never thought I'd get it done, but I'm happy with my model. And only my second (...) (19 years ago, 28-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Modified LCAC- A cool hovercraft

At a recent city fair, the Marines from Camp Pendleton had a display of some of their really cool equipment. The best part was they were allowing visitors to climb in, on and explore the vehicles. Far and away the coolest thing they had was an LCAC (...) (19 years ago, 28-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.military, FTX) !!

  Re: Small town building reference

(...) Thanks! And thanks for helping me with protocol - I know nothing about this stuff. Time for me to get reading up on BrickWiki. Peace and Long Life, Tony Alexander (19 years ago, 28-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

  Re: Small town building reference

(...) And thank you for adding a link to it on your page. I've added a link back to the page to provide credit. Since BrickWiki is meant to be more of an encyclopeadia it is unusual to credit the information provider but since I nicked the (...)   Re: Small town building reference

(...) Tim, Excellent! I like your link organization (AFOL/other resources) better, and love the idea that anyone can add their own link! I did think it important, though, to credit those who provided 'other resources' links as much as possible, as (...) (19 years ago, 28-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

  Shoelessjoe Refueled

If you missed shoelessjoe's MOCs first time around then check out the "refueled" images made in Photoshop using the original Brickshelf pictures. With shoelessjoe's approval I (hopefully) added another dimension to three impressive MOCs: The P-61 (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: Iron Mecha Entry - The Gentleman Crab

(...) As obsessed as I am with building models that adhere strictly to the original art, I think breaking from concept designs and reinterpreting them can be a very good thing. I love the color scheme. It's just about impossible to beat tan and dark (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
