  Re: On creating life-sized sculpture

Hi Ryan, All my sculptures are small (2 feet or smaller) because my husband doesn't want me to build anything bigger than the dogs ;) Seriously, I don't know how you would do that with MLCad (I find LeoCAD very difficult to use IMHO), because most (...)   On creating life-sized sculpture

Let's say, for the sake of argument, that I wanted to come up with actual step-by-step plans for creating a life-sized Lego statue of some well-known caped superhero, let's say, Superman. What would be the best way to go about this using something (...) (19 years ago, 1-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: light the night

Ondrew, I was somehow deeply moved when I first viewed your sculpture this afternoon. As Mark said, I immediately thought of the 9/11 tribute, specifically in my case it brought to mind some of the renderings of proposed WTC replacements. Your (...)   Pit Hangar

The (URL) pit hangar> was originally constructed to service a single podracer.   Re: Bondage Vignettes

Great Stuff! I am a huge bond fan so I found this particuarly enjoyable. I like the way you worked several elements of each movie into the scenes. My only quibble is with the Lazenby film (OHMSS) being included in the Connery era, although I guess (...) (19 years ago, 31-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: 1st posted MOC: Future City

Hey Doug, I was out of town last week so I missed your announcement here. As I noted before, these are really cool. You've really expanded it since the first pictures. My favorites are probably the Octan building, the Saturn plant, and the mansion (...) (19 years ago, 30-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: Panels to offer a 5-wide space in a 6-wide MOC

(...) I did some brief testing last night with this. The Technic motor((URL) does fit into the 1x4x3 and 1x2x3 panels, with possibly a very slight amount of bending. The 1x2x3 panel works better as the 1x4x3 panel has two small strengthening ribs (...) (19 years ago, 30-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

Re: Panels to offer a 5-wide space in a 6-wide MOC

(...) Strangely I was just thinking about this before I came online, but to hide a 4 wide technic motor in a five wide unit. Im going to have to experiment tho as the motor may be too big for the bigest panels. If not I'll have to use SNOTted (...) (19 years ago, 29-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)
