  micro moc: santorini

it seems greece is not as recognizable as i thought, or perhaps i've been to my local greek restaurant more often than i should. the walls are plastered with prints of "traditional" greek architecture, most of which appear to be santorini blue (...)   Re: Shadow : scout mech

I looked at all your pictures! I read all the tech docs! I like it I like it! Welcome! I know it must have taken a long time to put together the technical data, having to peel away the model like that. ....and your descriptions of the parts are (...)   Re: Motorcycle Mosaic

Bill, I thought this was sooooo cool. I clicked on it right away when I saw it on Brickshelf. I like the way it looks and the impression the mosaic design gives when you look at parts like the engine and even the front headlight with the white (...)   Re: Motorcycle Mosaic

(...) Hey Bryan, The whole mosaic in only 2 studs wide. Every Mosaic I have ever done has been the same. In the past all my mosaics are unglued with a glued frame around to keep all the bricks in place. I was going to do the same with this and the (...)   Re: PT 109

(...) Hey George, Did you check out the pics on my brickshelf folder? I have a few more views on there. Not much, but at least there are a couple.   Re: PT 109

(...) Hey Dave, Funny thing about the lettering. When I built the prototype I left it blank, in case the client wanted just a Navy PT instead of specifically PT-109. He saw the prototype pic a said he did want it as PT-109. I figured, as I glue it I (...) (19 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: Motorcycle Mosaic

(...) Hey Aaron, Odd you should mention that! I DID build a police car. But I just copied one from some other builder I saw.... Wonder if I need to pay royalties or something? :) Bill (19 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

  Re: Motorcycle Mosaic

(...) Hey George, Thanks for noticing the spokes! I couldn't tell if they came off they way I wanted. The lady I did this for painted each wall of the Lego roon a different color (red, yellow, blue, and green). I wasn't sure which wall it was going (...)   Re: Motorcycle Mosaic

(...) Hey Bryan, I am eventually going to switch over to the new colors. All the new bricks in the the new colors I have gotten, I have been squirrling away.   Re: new moc: beach house

(...)   Re: Motorcycle Mosaic

(...) Responding to my own thread to keep the clutter to a minimum... How thick is the model? It appears to be only a few studs deep (maybe 4 studs at most), but the various shades of grey give the model much more depth and makes it really look like (...) (...) He is certainly Japanese LEGO fan. But he didn't make his name public online. (When he posted to Japanese BBS,he usually signed "G@HITAHITA" as nickname.)   Re: Motorcycle Mosaic

(...) Bill, That's way cool, though the Kawasaki rider in me would prefer to see it in a parallel twin. Nice work on the spokes, too, they really look like spokes. Thanks, George (19 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

  Re: new moc: beach house
