Re: Micro continues to impress, plus thanks, Janey!

(...) Wow, Lenny, thank you so much. Your words are more appreciated than you may realise. I also wanted to thank you for inviting me to guest judge the space awards, that personal tour and the open discussion with you, Dan, and Felix opened me up (...)   Re: Micro continues to impress, plus thanks, Janey!

(...) Nonsense! For a long time Micro was that thing that everyone should do, but no one really did. I started building Micro because Janey cajoled me into it last year, and then I realized how much fun it was! Every year there is a coordinator who (...)   Re: Micro continues to impress, plus thanks, Janey!

(...) Thanks Ashley, but the real credit goes to all the amazing builders that are adopting and adapting Micro to levels that are ever expanding and increasing in detail and design. I was blown away with the quality of the work presented this year. (...) (19 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)

  Re: PT 109

(...) That's great! I love the detailing and I particularly like the white lettering at the bow. Some people don't care for the pixellated hull profile, but I don't mind it so much because it preserves the LEGO-ness of the ship. Very nice job! Dave!   Re: Motorcycle Mosaic

(...) That's an interesting new take on the whole mosaic idea! If you value your old grey so much (don't we all), why not make your commissioned sculptures out of new grey? -Bryan (19 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

  Motorcycle Mosaic

Hello again! Here is another MOC, a mosaic of a motorcycle. (URL) This was done for a client who wanted some glued models for her kids Lego themed playroom. This model measures 2 1/2 feet long, and 1 1/2 foot tall. It is built in the shape of the (...) (19 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX) !!

  PT 109

Hello! Thought I would post a pic of one of my latest creations, PT 109. This is the same torpedo boat made famous during WWII by being piloted by John F. Kennedy, and it's subsequent sinking and heroic actions by it's crew. (URL) This is my first (...) (19 years ago, 17-Aug-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.military, FTX) !!

Micro continues to impress, plus thanks, Janey!

Watch the galleries for pics of the outstanding micro creations that appeared at this year's BrickFest. Once again, the creations were incredible!   Vignettes at Brickfest 2005

At Janey's request I individually photograhed every vignette at Brickfest 2005.
