Re: Announcing... The First Joe Vig Contest !!!

(...) One of the rules states that you can have no more than 4 pictures. Does an animated .gif count as a single picture, or as a set of pictures? (2 URLs) Tony Hafner (URL) www.hafhead.com> (19 years ago, 12-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Retractable Hose Design

So, I'm trying to get a *big* hose reel, but I'd really like to use pneumatic tubing rather than Lego string. Problem being that it does NOT like to stay wound up. (Winding about 2-3 feet of hose) I came up with a halfway decent design that wraps (...) (19 years ago, 12-Jul-05, to lugnet.build)

Post for David Winkler... The Stanford Bunny!!

Hello All! Hey Check this out!! I'm posting for David V. Winkler, a quiet but very talented builder in SEALUG. Be sure to check out all the other stuff he's got in the brickshelf folder if you haven't already seen it! Cheers! (URL) classic 3d test (...)   Everybody was Kung-fu Fighting...

Well maybe not... I'd planned to have a couple of ninjas fighting out front, but then realized I'd packed them all away. So instead Kilroy got the position of honor...   Re: Maneki Neko - The Lucky Cat

(...) Don't you mean "nya!" ? :) Cute little sculpture, Anne. The whole thing comes together nicely with a minimum SNOT. The kanji on the coin are a great detail, although it might look a bit slicker if you SNOTed the plates sideways and shrunk the (...)   Re: Joe Vig Competition entry - The land of Hitchcock 1 & 2

Those are great. I love the use of the lightsaber hilt for the shower-head. The shower curtain is excellent too. I haven't seen the Birds so I can't really comment too much on it, other than to say, that you beat me to making a vignette from it... (...) (19 years ago, 11-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.vignette)

Joe Vig Competition entry - The land of Hitchcock 1 & 2

This is my first time giving vignettes a go. The reasoning behind my vignette is with Joe Vignettes, you always feel this sense of dread, like you want to yell out to him and warn him of the danger. This gives me that same feeling of when I am (...) (19 years ago, 11-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.vignette)
