Re: New MOC - Giant cable-stayed bridge

(...) I'll let Laz know (I don't know if he reads Lugnet) - he'll be pleased. (...) All in one night? - that's a lot of putting together! I don't know how long Laz took to do his bridge, but I imagine it was a lot more than one session. There were 4 (...) (19 years ago, 11-May-05, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Charlie

Hmmmm, this is a pretty interesting Bot. Good colors, neat leg structure. I wasn't sure I liked the feet until I looked closer, wow, ya, those are cool! I like the dark grey rounded parts with the hint of black. Also, I checked through your Member (...) (19 years ago, 11-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

OoooOOooooo, I like some of the poses you got in those photos! Cool way to use blue parts too. Posing Mechs is fun. e (19 years ago, 11-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Drake MkIII

Hey great rebuild, wow, I see the improvements. I like the top portion so much! The canopy and how it flips upwards is sooooo cool. The shapes you used work great. The ankles too I see how you built them up, looks really good. This is a cool Mech, (...) (19 years ago, 11-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: My first Vigs

(...) Thanks! (...) It sure seemed like a bunch of folks were hitting those brickshelf pages - it's nice to know the source. (And that's a pretty nifty blog!) (19 years ago, 10-May-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: My first Vigs

Hi Chris, Welcome aboard! I really like your work and you maybe have noticed that many of them have been highlighted on my blog (URL). There's a lot of great humor in there, like the octopus holding chopsticks or the depth of that puddle. Keep up (...) (19 years ago, 10-May-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  My first Vigs

Hello all - I've been a long-time occasional lurker to Lugnet, but I've only recently become a "real" member, and this is my first ever posting. I'm quite new to the concept of Vignettes; normally my creations are at a larger scale. The challenge of (...) (19 years ago, 10-May-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX) !

  Re: Drake MkIII

(...) Thanks Kyle. I intended to give it a more solid look. The old single missile launcher looked a bit plug on top. I felt it was a disturbing part. Later <~2645 Marco> (19 years ago, 10-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) The ankle is much improved, and I like the new missile launchers, and the solid canopy. Nice work! (19 years ago, 9-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: HoB pics?

(...) We didn't have any castle themed Vignettes. In fact, we only had castle creations from a few builders present. (Larry Pieniazek, Nik Pieniazek, Ken Koleda, Felix Greco and yours truely.) Hi, Marc. Thanks for the quickly-produced comments. But I guess you'll have to try harder to if you want to beat Speedy Gon-Hietbrink to the punch. (...) (...) I thought I had beat you this time! (...) Ah, that's what it is! This is the buffalo-horn hat we're talking about, right? I like it - if I could pull it off, I'd make one myself. (...) Jg 8:33: Great idol! Very grotesque and creepy. Jg 9:3-4: The turntable bases look great as a tile floor. I've used them as (URL) before, but this is an really nice use.   Re: The Brick Testament: Abimelech, King of Israel

Hey Brendan, How's this for turn-around? :) 69 Sons: The idol is really well done. I especially like the bug-eye things with the helmets. The floor idea with the turntable halves is also very nice.
