(...) well, version 1 was waterline and upwards only, link: (URL) and yes, the scale is to small to make microscale planes, they'd need to be somethin like 2 studs long and 1.5 studs wide, which would be just a little bit hard to do. thanks! -mark (19 years ago, 14-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  "odaibacontest3" Japanese group contest

Hi all, Check out (URL) this gallery>. My interpretation is that a Japanese LUG or fest had a contest with the constraint that the creation had to sit on a 16x16 baseplate (if anyone knows details about this I'd love to know more). Hi Norbert, Again, I'm amazed both by the time & dedication you put into your art, as well as the stunning results you were able to achieve in the end. You really solved some tricky problems in that hull! The shape of the deck is very complex and you managed to capture it. I have never seen the a picture of the Enterprise's hull and keel, so I can't comment on accuracy. But I think I'd prefer a (...) Hi James, (...) Thanks for your reply. (...) You are right. I used "hose rigid 3mm". If you bend them, they stay in the needed form. This form is fixed by these "tile 1x1 with clip". But you have to use a pair of hingeplate with 2/3 fingers to (...) (19 years ago, 13-Apr-05, to lugnet.build)

  Question from a vig newbie

Holy moley, I haven't laughed so hard at MOC's in years. Every vignette I've seen has been delightfully clever and wonderfully self-contained.
