About additional instruments...
One of the Harry Potter sets had a flute, see
http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/30374px1.
It’s not a professional instrument, but it might do in a pinch. Or you could
use a plain grey light-sabre blade as a flute. Or a length of grey/silver
technic flex-tube.
A simple clarinet can be made out of some black flex-tube and a 1x1 cone. But I
have no (good) idea how you could make a minifig play one...
