Re: New WIP mini - The Bee

How on earth did you get all of those parts to line up? I'm either missing a huge modelling tool here or you've spent dozens of hours hunched over a figureing pad. Good stuff... Matthias (20 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

(...) Looks like a folding camera-phone to me, similar to this one: (URL) japanese market gets all new gadgets at least a year before the rest of the world. This one looks more like a dog, though, maybe it has active motif-finding capability? Olof (20 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  What is this?

Saw this BS upload of (URL) and was wondering what it is exactly. Also, can anyone translate what is embedded in the picture? Mark (20 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.people, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Rolling Rubber, Boiling Radiator.

This made me sit up and take notice! It is funneeee! I liked it! The legs look a bit odd, but I'm assuming that was to enhance the clumsiness effect. Thanks! Legoswami (20 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: A primer on making custom elements

Hey, thanks for posting this, Norbert! It's very informative and well-written. I'm going to try the epoxy. I've tried a couple of hair pieces using a cut down motorcycle helmet as a base, but because I get a one-track mind about my hobby techniques (...) (...) Miklos, it is always great to see something new from you. This one looks great, and a little more...organic than your usual offerings. Oh noooo! That is too funny and actually pretty cool! Now, I'm wondering, who was it on Brickshelf that did something similar..... I' can't remember. Either way, thanks for sharring. e (20 years ago, 2-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Great post. I'm going to need to read through it several times. Any way you can post bigger pics, or post links to where they can be found? Thanks, James Wilson, Dallas, TX (20 years ago, 1-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.parts.custom, lugnet.parts.mod)

  Echo Base Escape (ESB Scene)

When the transports retreated, the Rebel ground forces and snowspeeder squadrons covered their escape by delaying the Imperials for as long as they could. (...) That is sooooo cool. Perfect extension to your universe. The secondary arms are a nice touch, I really like that. The size and scale are also a joy to see.   Re: Lego Factory Contest results

I don't object to your viewpoint (I think it would be really great if it DID work like Cafepress), I'm merely pointing out there are other equally viable and (simpler) alternatives to the way the Lego Factory might function.   Re: GBC does nothing for me

(...) What I'd like to see are corner parts that blend existing parts together, Say a 45 degree slope in one direction and a shallower slope in the other direction. I could also do with corner pieces for quarter round parts. Steve (20 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build)
