  Re: Kalate OmniDroid

(...) Thanks Eric. To comment on your post on MOC pages, you said, "An Urban Combat scene! How cool! It takes time to make the Mecha let alone the scenery! Bravo! More! e " I agree.   Re: Kalate OmniDroid

(...) Thanks. I wish I would have spent more time on the city. The details are wanting on almost every building but it was fun to get my feet wet with that type of micro city. As you can tell the Mechs only took me a few hours to build but the city (...) (20 years ago, 15-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Kalate OmniDroid

(...) Hoping to overcome some of those problems in my z24 model (...) Thanks. It was my first build with Bionicle pieces.   Re: butt-to-butt connections

(...) What do you mean by 'on top'? Are these butt-to-butt bricks supposed to form a flat surface, or upright walls with the studs facing out left and right, or a vertical wall with studs up and down? Can you handle sticking-out bits or studs on one (...) (20 years ago, 15-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: Tatsumaki Ver.2

(...) The Feet are so well done. The Hands are new and pretty cool. I like how well the legs came out. This is a very smooth remake. Nice job. I always liked the head! Glad that stayed the same! Plus, I gotta say, DUDE! 6 Titan XPs! That rocks! e (20 years ago, 14-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Kalate OmniDroid

Yo, Brian, the OmniDroid is easily the best of the bunch as far as the mechs go, but you've proven something much much more important. THE SCENE ROCKS! A few creations, in even a smallish setting make for an awesome creation overall. This is a (...) (20 years ago, 14-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Three Trunk Tree and Tall Thin Tree

Here's a three-trunk tree that I built for my railway layout: (URL) I used 2L black technic liftarms to attach more flex tubes to the central one. The white blobs underneath are geese! Also a tall thin tree next to an office block: (URL) tree uses a (...) (20 years ago, 14-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, lugnet.castle, lugnet.build, lugnet.announce.moc) !!

  Re: Kalate OmniDroid

-snippity- Brian, The mechs themselves seem a bit on the skinny side. A bit too colorful and thin-limbed to be convincing warmechs. I like the concept of the Omnidroid, and the way you carried it out with the bionicle pieces. But what I really liked (...) (20 years ago, 14-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Kalate OmniDroid

After building my first Mech the (URL) ABD-I> I decided that I also needed an alien race to battle (You know how Mech, unless your Eric, leads to war).   Re: butt-to-butt connections

(...) WHOOSH... this lower half just flew over my head. I'm not very clear on exactly what you want here. But I followed your question.   Re: butt-to-butt connections

(...) In how large or small a space are you hoping to accomplish this reversal? I have an idea, but it might not fit in the scale you're envisioning. Dave! (20 years ago, 14-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  butt-to-butt connections

I'm soliciting solutions to a not-unfamiliar SNOT-construction quandry: What's the best way to attach brown bricks butt-end to butt-end (the ends opposite the studs) securely, using only brown pieces that are readily available (i.e. available in (...)
