last weekend, canada's capital began its annual celebration of winter, known as winterlude, on the longest skating rink in the world, the rideau canal. ottawa's lego group, parlugment, was invited by the national capital commission to exhibit an (...) (...) As I said before, that was 90% of the work... creating a palette of LEGO colors that were exact. A lot of trial-and-error was involved. (...) I actually tried that, hoping that they'd stick well, but sadly the links seemed to pop off pretty easily. We sorta had the same problem with NELUG's quarry display, since the plates or bricks we stuck to the conveyor belts would keep popping (...) (20 years ago, 12-Feb-05, to lugnet.build)

(...) You can easily get eight wide tracks with the conveyor links, simply attach a 1x8 plate or tile across two lniks spaced appropriately. The conveyor links are designed to accept 1xn plates where n is greater than four. Steve (20 years ago, 12-Feb-05, to lugnet.build)

(...) Every website uses different RGB-values (I did too). So which one is EXACT? (Have you read the post on the HP night bus? Many shades of the same colour...)
