Re: Error Diffusion Dithering in LEGO (ministeck) mosaics

Dither... schmither... :) (...) You talkin' to ME?! :) Just for fun, I took that image and converted it to mosaic form with the techniques I've been experimenting with. Instead of limiting the colors to the ones you did, I limited the colors to the (...) (20 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

  Re: Latest MOC: F/A-18 Hornet

Re: Gladius - My First Mech

(...) snip That's a heck of a debut, Tim. Let me be the first (and only) poster to complain about the inadequacy of Gladius' missile load-out. Who are you trying to impress with a measly pair of 25-tube launchers? I'm kidding of course. Seriously, I (...) (20 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Stormwalker

(...) snip Welcome (belated) to .mecha. I really like the dual cockpit, with the side cladding and the yellow internal details. I think the pic you chose for your post is the best view of this machine. My suggestion would be to leave the torso (...) (20 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: MH Zephyr

In lugnet.announce.moc, Soren Roberts wrote: snipped pic (...) You know we do. Few builders can match your skills or your rapid pace! Love the shoulder and hip armor, and the grill tile/jumper plate detailing on the shins. Cool Bionicle gearbox (...) (20 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Would anyone like to help me with a grayscale mosaic?

(...) something like this---sort of "posterized". On this example, I find it cleans up some of the "clutter" that other dithers give. It also allows you to use some larger pieces than 1x1 as you'll get larger areas of a single colour. Your piece (...) (20 years ago, 1-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Re: Bricksaic version 0.1.0

(...) Larry, I looked into what you said and it is correct: Bricksiac is using the ldconfig.ldr file in it's installed directory and MLDraw is using a file named the same ldconfig.ldr in it's installed dirctory. Then if one of the other has a (...) (20 years ago, 31-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Hello everybody

(...) This caused some problems, as I pointed out in my reply to Mark. (...) Yes. I first tried the Little Bot feet, but with the heavy chest and the different leg gears they didn't work well. Primech fell over at a whimp. (...) I don't mind if you (...) (20 years ago, 31-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Stormwalker

(...) First of all, Thank you for this. I really do feel honored hearing this from you. I found two pictures on the NET 9 month ago showing LEGO mecha. The first was the Black Mamba MKII (you may have seen it from time to time) and the second was (...) (20 years ago, 31-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Stormwalker

(...) Well it is quite impossible to build this type of mecha without having some Neumann-esque look in it. If you once have seen one of his chicken leged babies you don't get them out of your mind.
