  Re: beginnings of a mech

(...) thanks for that. I messed with the feet and thought wow, that actually looks ok. (...) I fein sickness. No, actually I don't work at all and sort of "space-out" and think of Lego. Strangely I get more work done those days... :) Mark (20 years ago, 17-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: beginnings of a mech

(...) Hehe, temped to make a joke here but thinking that might not be taken the right way. (...) Yep, only two on the ankle, but it gives all the mobility I need. (...) That place where the bricks meet in the middle of the thigh? No that isn't (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Elite Shocktrooper

(...) I got the feeling of an alien lifeform looking at this mech. The insectiod trans piece conveys that particuarily well. The Bionicle parts convey the organic yet mechanicle aspects of this creation nicely. Tall, stringy looking and over (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: my first post :)

Weclome to a dot mecha, where Lego mechs can stomp free. (...) This is my fav of the bunch. Great porportions, good balance, the big old ax is a nice touch. My only point I see is to do something with the sides of the upper thigh, to reduce (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: An amazing builder

(...) I saw some of Paul's work at NWBrickCon and was very impressed with his style, which is very unique. The models are whimsical and imaginative and the vibrant color schemes are really eye-catching. The amount of detail is amazing; I almost (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: my first post :)

(...) Wait..we got another Mecha builder named Eric now? Eric, very cool. I like them, great color schemes, and for the size, it's nicely done! No constructive criticism here, haven't build any Mecha (too busy doing a really big building that's due (...) (20 years ago, 16-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: beginnings of a mech

(...) Not another chicken walker. Sheesh, talk about old hat. ;) In all seriousness, that hip joint is a real eye opener. Thanks. You only have the two axes of rotation in the ankles, yes? And is the thigh rotation also worm geared? Cheers, Allister (20 years ago, 16-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
