To create my (URL) Level 42 mosaic> I used the Floyd-Steinberg dithering algorythm: This algorythm was originally written to convert images to black & white (NO grayscale) to reduce filesize. Hi Cynthia! I saw this on BrickShelf and instantly thought it was beautiful. There are nice building designs in the structures and the stained glass windows are very cool and so are the hand panels.
