Re: LEGOfactory.com launches... and it's big!

(...) How kind of you to think that, David. But no, I live in Amsterdam, the capital city of The Netherlands (and that's somewhere in Europe :-) With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (20 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.build.microscale)

  Re: MOC: Brikington Manor

This is really fantastic. Shaun, you've done a fantastic job capturing all the detail and feel of a real place in minifig scale, not that easy to do. I love this. I think we all have grand ideas, and we settle for something else along the way, but (...) (20 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Brikington Manor

(...) been uploaded, and have just drooled over the level of detail. I can always tell if a MOC works for me if I feel as though I want to "be there". And Brikington Manor is definitely a place I wish I could visit. Major Kudos to you, Shaun. (...) (20 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

Shaun Sullivan wrote in message ... (...) Wow, Shaun! Stupendous! It must be the season for mansions.... Deborah just posted hers and I am working on one too, so I am NOT looking at all your (and her) pics and details until I am mostly finished (...)   Re: LEGOfactory.com launches... and it's big!

(...) Definitely! To me it came up as trying to be hung off a LUGNET path which clearly is wrong unless I *really* missed a memo! FTX URLs can be tricky to get right. But hats off to Jake for bringing us this info in a hurry, FTX URL snafus are not (...) (20 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Re: LEGOfactory.com launches... and it's big!

(...) That also makes sense--that said, I know when I clicked on the link provided via FTX, it was a little wonky. Ahh, the internet... in all its mixed-up glory--the propagation of names is fickle--I have no problem here in southern Ontario, but (...)   Re: LEGOfactory.com launches... and it's big!

(...) Thanks Dave, I think that there's a chance the domain name may not have propagated everywhere yet, as it times out for me too, even using the pasted link. Patience, Patience... The stuff at club.lego.com is accessable though, and shows off the (...) (20 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.build.microscale)

  Re: MOC: Brikington Manor

(...) some of the library pics a few days ago on Brickshelf and was blown away. The house as a whole is overwhelming. Is there anyway you could upload a .zip file of the pics that you have on Brickshelf and make it available for download from (...) (20 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

Shaun, this is just great. What else can I say apart from "The bar has been raised again." Againer than ever. Bye Jojo (20 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: MOC: Brikington Manor

Absolutely unbelievable. The details just blow my mind - each individual room could be a MOC worth highlighting, but the totality of it just takes my breath away. I especially liked the gallery, the round library, the white bathroom, and the secret (...) (20 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Brikington Manor

Hi Shaun, for days on row, one of the first things I do is looking at your progress. It's so amazing what you've accomplished! So much detail, so much fun to look at, and so much fun you must have had creating and building it. Very nice photography. (...) (20 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: SnowCat

Hmmm, my origional folder got deep sixed somehow and BS folks didn't restore it, so I've reposted the pics here: (URL) SnowCat> It may have to re-moderate as well so just hold on a sec, and the deep links on the origional post still work anyway.   Re: MOC: Brikington Manor

(...) Everything about the whole house is awesome. It's both impressive as a whole, and packed with small details. My favorite is the armoire with the sock tiles in the drawer. With all of those photo-worthy details, I can see why it took so long to (...) (20 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament: The Book of Joshua Concludes

(...) Thanks, Bruce! (...) Yeah there are a few different faces for the maxifigs (though I did photoshop less-than-happy mouth shapes in these images). (...) snip (...) This moc, for me, is almost beyond comment. It's bloody brilliant... and I can not express how much I have been enjoying the pics on brickshelf as you have been adding them.   Re: The Brick Testament: The Book of Joshua Concludes

Hi, Lenny. Hey, remember when we first met in person at BrickFest PDX, and we talked about how people's visages don't always match up to how you've pictured them in your mind? And since your name on LUGNET always appears in the header as "Leonard (...) (20 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Hey Brendan, Great work as always! Massacre of the Anakim - I didn't reallize there were different faces for the big round-headed figs.
