  Re: Mech terminology

(...) is (...) That's how I've always used it. One mech, several mecha. FASA is welcome to come and try to sue me. "MECH MECH MECH!" Anyone with as poor a record of respecting IP as FASA has little ground to stand on. Besides, IMHO, FASA (...) (25 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Dude, you are SO cool. I'm not worthy. <bowing> The cool thing is, these don't necessarily have to be microfig scale... they could also be minifig scale combat droids! Some creative use of minifig parts, and they could be power suits, or cyborg (...) (25 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Directional Transmission

Serious mechanical builders should study these handy directional transmission devices. They rank high along with other nice sub-assemblies, eg, adder-subtractor differentials and shifting transmissions. You may use them in machines with or without (...)
