Continuing in the theme of brick memorials, here's our favorite unrespected comedian: (URL) With my old man I got no respect. I asked him, "How can I get my kite in the air?" He told me to run off a cliff. Bruce (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX) !

  Re: Warning when using 1 x 4 x 5 windows!

(...) Huh! In trying this with 67 windows of my own, I find: - 8 windows have solid studs and won't ever work (7 black, 1 white) - 4 windows worked just fine (4 white) - 55 didn't work as you said (27 grey, 14 black, 6 white, 7 new grey, 1 pastel (...) (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back!

(...) Hey Dave, A fellow Micronaut! I still collect Micronauts and Microman. The new fig's articulation is AWESOME! They're selling them at Suncoast Video if you are interested. You should check out this place for even more Microman action: (URL) (...) (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Looking for ideas on using blank "minifig heads"

(...) I was planning on using both colors stacked up as posts for docks for my Pirate town. (which I still haven't made. Waiting until I get a great amount of pieces, and actually get them at my apartment. Most of my LEGO collection is at my (...) (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.build)

(...) happened (...) was (...) Right on! Micronauts are definitely one of my fave-raves from my childhood. Jeff, have you ever been to: (URL) often go here just to bathe in the warm and fuzzy waters of nostalgia. I had quite a bid of Micronauts as a (...) (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Warning when using 1 x 4 x 5 windows!

Having designed a model in CAD and before I owned the part I assumed that the hollow studs on the top of 1 x 4 x 5 windows [LDrawPart 2493:2] would allow the small pins on the bottom of 1 x plates and bricks (URL) to be placed on the stud, giving a (...)   Re: Noppingen Palace by Lemming

(...) Wonderful stuff !! Hats off to Rainer for the MOC and thanks for sharing the posting Homa. I really like the coat of arms decal (I think?) and the entrance to the hotel. Looking forward to future work. KK Quah (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Noppingen Palace by Lemming

Hello John, (...) I tried to do so, but got into technical problems. I signed up as a member some time ago, and it seems, the news server kicked me out of his list then. However, I couldn't post my announcement yesterday. Holger was so kind to take (...) (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back!

(...) Thanks for liking my stuff even though you don't like Bionicle. I just happened into it before I got into the system stuff. The reason I was drawn to it was because it reminded me of the Micronauts I had as a kid. It has a simple robotic (...) (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: How do you do this? Doors and roofs?

I send this to lugnet.build.arch too, hope to get some input. The most important right now, is to get to know more about odd roofs, where e.g. walls are not straigh. Sonnich (...) (20 years ago, 6-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.arch)

Re: Orbital Boost Frame and I'm back!

(...) Ah Goldie, I think his back "moobs" are because of the excessive G-forces while boosting in orbit.:-P Yeah, those meat hooks I'm gonna do something about those b-yotches. I resign my membership in the LMHOF until I fix them. Thank you. Jeff (...) (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Bacta Tank

The containment cylinder fills with rejuvenating bacta fluid that is capable of healing even the most grievous wounds. Medical droids closely monitor the patient, who is suspended in the fluid.   Re: Basilica

(...) Thank you for correcting that. As I'm sure everybody just figured out, I'm new to using ftx format on lugnet. Regardless, thank you.   Re: Noppingen Palace by Lemming

(...) Hello, Holger, Thanks for sharing Rainer Kaufmann's amazing MOC with us! Rainer has posted here before. I wonder why he didn't mention this MOC himself? Anyway, this is an overwhelming model. There are far too many interesting details to (...) (20 years ago, 6-Oct-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Basilica

(...) I think the link should be this: (URL) Romanesque basilica>. It's the same link without the slash at the end of the URL. Excellent work, by the way, both inside and out. I always love seeing interior shots of large LEGO churches. (20 years ago, 7-Oct-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: Looking for ideas on using blank "minifig heads"

(...) Ofcourse they are gread as load for hopper waggons. But if you just stack a handfull of black or brown minifig heads it makes nice profiled wooden columns or poles, useable for Oceania, Azian or Viking traditional houses for instance. With (...)   Re: new mecha: RGM-79 GS CUSTOM

(...) you know it! that's why i chose an rgm to build--they don't have all the frill that other gundams have, rather they look more simplistic like military vehicles do. jason (20 years ago, 6-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Z797

(...) Thanks Fradel. The only reason the minifig torsosare there is because I couldn't find enough of another piece I wanted to use. It's the only good thing that came about because of lack of pieces on this model. -Brayton (20 years ago, 6-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
