  Re: Most Inspiring Anime/Manga Poll

(...) Mecha wise my first big attraction was Robotech, but I had seen (and liked Starblazers years before). I also watched much Battle of the Planets and Voltron (liked the lion series better). (...) Well my understanding from the past is: Robotech (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Most Inspiring Anime/Manga Poll

(...) When I was a kid I'd build spaceships that would connect like Battle of the Planets/G-Force/I forget the other name of it. I saw an old episode of it on Cartoon Network last week where one of the member's sub/boat landed on shore and out (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Directional Transmission

I have been playing around with the directional transmission (as seen at (URL) I needed a different orientation of the transmission and a different output setup. Check out (URL) for the details. (...) Robotech, man! :-, Then Go-Bots and Transformers (blech now), and Battletech later, though since early Battletech stole mucho from Robotech (which in turn stole mucho from Macross and Mospeda) I feel I can't really count that. I also got a (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Most Inspiring Anime/Manga Poll

I was just wondering what anime/manga everyone here is most inspired by when making their own creations. Personally, Gundam first started me in the idea of making Lego Mecha, but Evengelion is also shifting my interests into making more sleek/agile (...)   StarCraft: Terran Marine

I built a Terran Marine out of Lego. It is about the size of an average Lego Technic figure, although it uses to head of a Lego minifigure. I even built a Gauss Rifle for the Marine. I can also give him a flame thrower and back-pack mounted propane (...) (25 years ago, 9-Feb-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Dude, you rock! These, as usual for you, are great. (...) Try more light and multiple light-sources.
