Something I've had some limited success in photographing scale models with is using the cheap-o aluminum reflectors with photo bulbs in them -- (...) (...) Looks like you are working under lighting conditions too dark. Try a brighter light source or adding a couple more less-bright light sources. (...) Yah, the cone thing is supposed to be a coaxial aerospike engine -- as opposed to a linear aerospike engine, which is what the VentureStar shuttle will use. Not just one model but a whole line of them! Great work as usual, Jeremy. Here are some things that I noticed: Consistent use of engine design (cone in sw engine, or similar) except for the Embark-class Destroyer. It really makes the whole line of (...)
