  Re: Civ. MOC contest: MG3k

(...) Yeah, sometimes it is normal. Comments/critiques? Well, this MOC might not get as many because it is rendered. But I'll tell you what I think. Looks cool, and pretty faithful to the original. Space cars are always nice. The details are cool, (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

  Re: Civ. MOC contest: MG3k

(...) I was actually hoping for some comments/critique... Is it normal that you actually have to ask for it in these forums? (I'm only asking because I don't know!) (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

Re: What's Your Favorite German Word?!

(...) My favorite words when I took German in high school were, strangely enough, Kartoffel, which means potato, and zufrieden, which means content. I think Zufrieden would make a fine name for a pleasure ship, don't you think?   Re: Second entry for TGBSLILA, a work in progress

(...) Truly amazing, Aaron. I echo Martin's sentiments in hoping you can bring it to the MUGS meeting on Monday. Gets my vote for TGBSLILA - oh wait, I'm not a judge LOL ROSCO (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.town, FTX)

(...) Looks really great, is it comming to the QBD meeting on Monday so we can have a first hand look? (...)   Re: Second entry for TGBSLILA, a work in progress

(...) Excellent work Aaron ! Unmistakable streetscape even to the occasional visitor. The 2 types of trams and 2 types of buses and the train station would be my favourite parts of your display. Something like this would go down well in a show open (...) (20 years ago, 12-Jun-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: What's Your Favorite German Word?!

(...) My favorite German word is "SCHADENFREUDE", which translates to "showing happiness over other peoples misfortunes". A good example of schadenfreude is the feeling you get when you find out that greedy corporate executives go to jail for their (...)   Re: What's Your Favorite German Word?!

(...) When living there for a few years, "Biergarten", especially when used in a one word sentence ending in a questionmark was always music to my ears. (I was in my dark ages then). "Spielzeugausverkauf" would now be a close second. Paul (20 years ago, 11-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.events.1000steine-land)

Second entry for TGBSLILA, a work in progress

Please note, this is still a work in progress.. It all began over a year ago when Paul Baulch mentioned that maybe a city in microfig could be done.   What's Your Favorite German Word?!
