  Re: Hardsuit

(...) Hey Brayton. I love seeing new hardsuits, especially with whole minifigs in them. It is very unique. The four arms are cool. I would really like to see some action shots to see how poseable the hardsuit is and also how the pilot (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New MOCs

(...) Oh nice...the APC really has me. Is that a technic turntable for the turret? It's so simple, and beefy. I also quite like the fly wheels inside the wheel hubs. Probes. *shudder* Great stuff as usual Soren. Cheers, -Gil (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: New MOCs

I love the APC: it's beautiful. It has a great System look. I look foward to seeing the interior—it would definitely be worth the effort working one out. The color scheme of the robriq is really cool. The shape reminds me of a whale. Nice builds. (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: Hardsuit

(...) Soren, I agree with you that the shoulders need bulking up. However, there is so little space between the two arms that even a 1 x 1 plate would destroy some of its posability. If you can think of a way around this, I'd love to hear about it. (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New MOCs

(...) Thank you. Would you like a larger pic? I'll color-correct it, I usually don't bother but I can :). Soren (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: New MOCs

(...) Thanks for the new desktop pic! Anything with six wheels MUST be admired. -Dave (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  New MOCs

Two tasty dishes on the menu this time. First, more Ceti military hardware. (Centralist majority in Council, you know, and Defense is their baby).<*> (URL) No interior yet, I just can't get anything that works. And a probe Robriq. (URL) Yes Jon, I (...)   Re: Hardsuit

Very nice. I love it when someone posts a model and I have no clue how it goes together. If we can both make Brickfest let's have a hardsuit sumo match :). The only thing that bothers me is the shoulders, I think they could use a bit of bulking up. (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hardsuit

(...) Criticism? No chance of that from me on this model. This is simply one of the coolest looking hardsuits I've ever seen and the four arm interpretation of the hardsuit is just obscenely sweet! Further proof that color isn't everything. (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Hardsuit

Here's a little 3 day build that came about while I wait for the pieces to arrive for my gundam. (2 URLs) This design came about because I wanted to build something with four arms.   Re: What is Best in Life?

(...) Beautiful job Jon. Once again you pop out a briliant idea! Seems you turned a page from space to mecha. Great work! :-Devin (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: A little math concerning ships, containers and Minifigs

(...) Actually, they probably should be 2.1 wide or something. In fact I hope to see some of these at BrickFest DC in the Micro Scale exhibit... wouldn't a microscale dockyard and train container loadout facility be cool? (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: The Flying Wing

Hi Christian "Sweep and Taper" sounds like a weekend of frustration! :) But you are right and I think I will go for it with SNOT. It was useful to read both yours and Lindsay's comments! As for the tail. Yep, more red would be a good thing. I can (...) (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: The Flying Wing

Hi Lindsay Thanks for your comments and ideas. I have tried building wings with SNOT before with reasonable success: (URL) I hadn't thought about SNOT when I was building "the wing" but I think it would allow for more tapering.
