See my latest truck (a black tractor with tanker trailer) in lugnet.cad.dat.models: (URL) LMKWYT! I'll try to get some raytraces done soon. --Bram (25 years ago, 26-Jan-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

  Re: MOC: Aquaraider Wavechopper

(...) As I was sorting pieces last weekend (oops, wrong ng!), I found a castle fig that had the reddish brown hair and beard. I guess when I first got it, I probably assumed it was brown, but in a good light, it's definitely auburn. (25 years ago, 25-Jan-00, to lugnet.build)

Space & SW rumor denied by TLC!

In a mail to LEGO Sweden I asked them if they couldn´t make any other space models as long as they made SW. They said (translated) "Ofcourse we can, we have the Insectoids. There is no need for more space, there are so many other themes as well." (...) (25 years ago, 25-Jan-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Office Building

The "October 1999" brick was gray, not silver. It was made for the opening of the LEGO Outlet store in Atlanta, Ga. The "November 1999" bricks were made for the LEGO Outlet store opening in Woodbridge, VA. The silver 2x4 bricks formed a stripe just (...) (25 years ago, 25-Jan-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Office Building

(...) They came from the LEGO outlets that opened in October (Georgia) and November (Virginia). I assume that the brick was grey and not silver..At the LEGO outlet in GA they had all of the basic colors (including grey). Michael Hader (URL) (25 years ago, 25-Jan-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Office Building

(...) I saw one "October 1999" silver brick used as the cornerstone. Which brings me to an OT question: where did these bricks come from? I saw people posting about "October" and "November" bricks, but I never saw where they were getting them or how (...) (25 years ago, 25-Jan-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Technic/Throwbot Alien

(...) the second pc even looks like an h.r. giger painting! the light catching on the side of the all-black head reveals the elaborate plate and brick work quite nicely. it's so great to see a creation using system, technic, and throbot elements so (...) (25 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: For Your Eyes Only !!!

(...) Looks like Lego... 2x3 bricks maybe. (...) It is quite nice... But the seller gives zero information about the artist. Unless it's someone really famous, I don't see anyone buying this at this price. I think someone is testing the Ebay market (...) (25 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  Re: Office Building

(...) Yes, the windows are from 4561. The pictures don't show how cool the silver stripe looks in person. I'm sure we will get some digital camera pics of it at the next meeting. KL (25 years ago, 23-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  Re: Scoop what?

Faceted beads scoop well with the LEGO front-end loader, back hoe, and Technic seat. The 8mm size works better than the 6mm size. LEGO Shop at Home (telephone 1-800-453-4652 anytime) sells the front-end and backhoe scoops in Service Pack #5284 for (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Pythagorean Triads and Almost-Triads

(...) O.K., I did it, and it WORKS! Here are the details (I wish I had a digital camera, or LDRAW right now): On a 32 X 32 baseplate, I constructed three walls using several 1 X 4, 1 X 6, and 1 X 8 bricks, four 1 X 4 hinge bricks, and two 1 X 8 (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: LEGO grandfather clock

(...) The easiest way for me to answer this would that I would certainly consider making another clock (or any other sculpture) for a commission. You are right, the cost would be high... not only to cover the bricks, but just for the time involved (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Re: LEGO grandfather clock

(...) Once again, it's proved that while special pieces are cool, nothing beats a massive quantity of good ol' bricks to build something great. So now... what are you going to do with BLUE bricks? -Tom McD. when replying, spamcake was rationed in (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  Re: LEGO grandfather clock

At the risk of being pilloried, (but I gotta know), would you consider selling the clock (or a clock)? [ok, so that is really two, quite different questions] Actually the real question I had in mind was... had you thought about putting it up for (...)
