Several MOCs: Lighthouse, Tiny Tanks, and more

Hi all, I haven't posted a MOC in a while, so it's about time I did. First, a lighthouse: (URL) images are all 1600x1200, so could be a long wait) This was an extension of just playing around, trying to see how tight a circle I could make with just (...) In lugnet.announce.moc, Deborah Higdon wrote: <snip> (...) This is my favorite part of your manor. It looks very elegant and the tan and white look really good together. How sturdy is the staircase? -- Thomas Main thomasmain@myrealbox.com (20 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.build.arch)

Re: moc: french manor with formal gardens

(...) I was one of many who had the pleasure of seeing this in person last night. This is a beautiful MOC, and we all spent a lot of time taking in all the intricate details. Love the fountain, the garden, the apple and lemon trees, the open (...) (20 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

Re: LEGO Mosaic: Fort Worth Skyline

(...) Upping the bar with the color, eh? It really looks great; did the Mayfest people provide the image, or did you find one on your own? The choice of POV is awesome, and the green fields, paths, and people in the foreground really add to the (...) (20 years ago, 6-May-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Re: Coupe/ Cabrio car

(...) Thanks Keith! For both your explanation and your kind words. Indeed I said I used only 8458 and 8466 to build it, so no extra stuff. Actually I don't have any other panels; of the new technic sets I only have 8458 and 8466. So unfortunately no (...) (20 years ago, 5-May-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.loc.nl, lugnet.technic)

  Re: C-55 Mobile "Spider" Platform

i'm a real big fan of the multiped tank/modile gun platforms. this is really good work. the ball turrets add a nice amount of menace, and overall play up the "bristling with weapons" look. i just love that! the legs feel a wee bit on the thin (...) (20 years ago, 5-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: A way to get dirtside when driving a light mech

this is very cool. i'm a big fan of huge ships, and to marry the huge ship with the mecha (my greatest love)...well...it's divine! i enjoy the two-legged mechs, some of my earliest designs were two-legged. it makes me want to return to it again! the (...)   Re: New Builder, New Mecha!
